Oral History Seminar: Czechoslovak-Polish Scientific Networks

The latest Oral History Seminar was held on 22 April 2026 at the Institute of History of the Jagiellonian University. On this occasion, Dr Tomáš W. Pavlíček, a researcher at the Czech Academy of Sciences and a collaborator of the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences, presented an interview with the mathematician Roman Duda (born 1935). The interview was recorded as part of research on the history of science and Polish–Czechoslovak scientific networks. The project is expected to result in a book entitled Roman Duda: Apostle of the Wrocław Mathematicians.

The Oral History Seminars are co-organized by the Qualitative Data Archive at IFiS PAN, the Faculty of Culture and Arts at the University of Warsaw, and the Polish Oral History Association.
