On March 18, 2021, the Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives, CESSDA ERIC (cessda.eu), together with the Polish Social Data Archive (PADS) and the Qualitative Data Archive at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (ADJ) organised an online event titled ‘CESSDA Data Day 2021’.
CESSDA brings together social science data archives across Europe, with the aim of promoting the results of social science research and supporting national and international research and cooperation. Currently, 22 European countries are members of CESSDA ERIC, while 13 countries, including Poland, have partner status. PADS and ADJ actively support the idea of Poland joining CESSDA in order to make the empirical achievements of Polish social sciences more widely available and to promote them internationally.
