On February 22nd, the meeting of the pilot series titled Oral History Seminars took place at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IFiS PAN). The event was co-organized by the QDA, the Polish Oral History Association and the Faculty of Culture and Arts of the University of Warsaw. This time the participants analyzed an interview from Dr. Maria Buko’s ongoing project, which focuses on the children of German concentration camp prisoners. The account was filled with difficult emotions, so the discussion dedicated a lot of attention to ethical issues and the necessity of caring not only for the well-being of the interviewees but also for the interviewers themselves.
